The dish also uses Burt’s Blue Cheese, which is made in Cheshire. It has a semi-soft texture, perfect for melting in the oven. The blue veins give it an intense flavour and a lot of character.

This recipe serves 2 people.

  • 200g peeled prawns
  • 250g blue cheese, diced
  • 150g mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 50ml white wine
  • 30g breadcrumbs
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

Heat the oil in a frying pan and soften the onions, garlic and mushrooms together. Add the prawns and cook for further 3-4 minutes.
